The Junior School is within the large school environment, separate from the senior school. Only students within the age bracket of 10 - 12 years are suitable for admission. It has a population of about 250 students, with the classrooms having an average of 20 students. This is to ensure a high level of personal care and attention.
Right from Junior School, we discover students' innate abilities and encourage them to achieve their full potential. We also challenge them to excel and make them to appreciate learning, as the foundation of success at any level.
Regular contact/sessions with parents are welcomed here. Consultation evening and open conferences are held every term. In addition, parents receive weekly assessment reports and two formal reports. (Midterm and end-of-term) via e-mail.
Our curriculum is designed to carefully and adequately prepare our students for Junior NECO examination as well as the University of Cambridge Checkpoint examination.
We also operate the Access Time System, which gives every students an open invitation to visit teachers in the staff room, thereby providing both help and extension. Certainly, a bit of extra-personal advice/attention can make all the difference. Prep (Homework) is done in school under the supervision of form tutors. It is mandatory for students to join school clubs and associations as well as partake in seminars and regular excursion exercises.
